What does it mean when a devil saves you from another devil in a dream?

I had a dream in which I was in a mall and there was a demon.It was destroying everything and killing people. Chandeliers were exploding and shattered gl was all over. I remember having my children around me and I ran along with them to the back of the mall. I hid my children along with other children that were there in drawers and under beds. A child was so scared that he wanted to urinate but I told him to just hide in the toy box while I distracted the demon away from them. There was an exit door close by but it was locked. I put a chair close to drawers the children were hiding in and sat on it thinking that if the demon came, I would distract it. Then a lady ( in gothic attire) came to us and started cursing the evil being. She opened the door and the children and I ran out to safety. As we were running, we noticed body parts strewn all over the streets. We then ran through a secret entrance that my husband (dressed in a farmer's attire) created for us. We ran into a barn and the children started turning evil and growing horns. They were asked to stand on a ledge and water was flowing from an opening in the roof. One by one I washed each child's head under the water, after washing thier heads Imebraced each one and they started returning to normal. Then a child whose head I wash does not change and he tells me that he requires more than that to change. It gives me a feeling like he intends to me in order for him to heal and he has developed a golden head that has horns and a snout. When he starts to force himself on me I am saved by someone and at first I only see a naked man from the waist to feet. As I raise my head I realise that I was saved from a fully grown devil which resembles the child devil.I get a sense from him that he does not intend to harm me but instead protects me from this little devil and there seems to be an unspoken understanding between us. He pulls the head off the child devil and kills it. I cannot understand why I would be saved from a devil and why I would have such a dream or what it means. About 3 months ago I came across a devil tarot card and realised that it looks like the same devil I saw in my dream. Can anyone help me understand what this means or is it just a dream that stems from my sub conscious?
