I am 18 and a virgin, is that weird?

My only girlfriend was a Christian and she said she wanted to get married before doing it. I think i really loved her and she meant more to me than just having . I know she would regret it if we did it so i never pushed her for it. She ended up moving to another state and that was really heartbreaking but I think im over it now. Just wondering if a girl would want me as a boyfriend if i havent had before. I dont think you should wait to get married for it but i still want my first time to be with someone i really like.... all of my friends have had before and they give me a hard time about it, would a girl act the same way errr....
