uming they have them, will a Zoo let you hold a tarantula?

Lots of zoos have tarantulas but they will not allow you to hold them for a few reasons: 1. The tarantula could bite you and if you have an allergic reaction to the bite they are legally liable; 2. Tarantulas are extremely fragile (despite their size) and unless you're familiar with tarantula handling you could drop the tarantula or freak out causing it to fall and probably die; 3. Most tarantulas do not like being held because it's a stressful experience for the spider.
