Guys: Why does love that is reciprocated turn some guys off?

For men: Why is it that you fall in love with a girl/woman, and then when she starts to show her interest back and tell you she loves you, cares for you, opens her heart up to you, you lose interest? I've witnessed this being the case in so many situations w/ guys, and it boggles my mind.
